I work as a Foundation Phase Teacher at Simla Primary School (2022–Present), where I teach learners in accordance with the CAPS curriculum. I plan and deliver engaging lessons in Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills, using play-based and learner-centred teaching strategies to make learning fun and easy to understand. I create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners. I assess learner progress regularly and provide ongoing support to meet individual needs. I also manage classroom behaviour effectively while supporting learners’ social and emotional development, and work closely with educators, parents, and school management to ensure learner success.
